This may have already been suggested or some variation on this idea so give me a break if I missed a thread. I searched but not very hard.

How about a Legion history tab (maybe next to Effects) on "View Ship Stats" that shows the Legion history for each player? I have only run one and then joined one. It could show Loc Nar Seekers (Former Leader) below Stormkyn Alliance Legion (Current Member) (or Officer for those that are/were). If I ever leave to join another Legion, the new Legion could easily see my history and know what's up with my playing style, if I am a spy or bouncing around.

Companion to that would be a Legion history reputation that the leader(s) of the exiting Legion could assign. This would help the shame list to be carried with each player. Also if a good player has left for greener pastures or differences in playing style then they should have no blemishes. Inactive boots could get a low rep if this was categorized in some way. Something like these things. I just like this game a lot and the Legion dynamic is a nice feature of it. Thanks for considering.

I like this idea, and maybe if they were kicked the officer or leader that kicked them would give a reason that stays with them until they find a new legion?

Yeah, bad idea. There's nothing wrong with having a shame list here in the forums, but if it is actually attached to your ship there is the possibility that it can hinder your gameplay. Way too much potential for abuse.

I thought it was people rating a legion as they left it. Which is kind of funny since all the top legions' rating would be close to zero unless they lost all their members in some kind of dysonian/knights who say ni kind of exodus and the members that were leaving actually felt bad about their blatant self-interest and lack of loyalty.

Although I agree with what you say, Spoony, reread the OP. It is just the opposite. Legions would be leaving a mark on the player...
