Ship stats should be expanded to show your current att/def rate for npc's and also bases. This is because certain items and abilities give you +X% to specific elements in the game, but aren't reflected in your overall stats. Having numerous buffs you can use, it's difficult to keep track of where you're at for each without doing the calculations every time you add or lose a buff.

EX:

Attack (overall): 50,000
NPC: 62,370 (mouse over to see specific buffs)
BASE: 58,220 (mouse over to see specific buffs)

Defense (overall): . . . (etc.)
NPC: . . .
BASE: . . .

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I don't see where it really matters.

Hit an NPC and it tells you what your attack and defense is.
Hit a base and same thing.

It being displayed changes nothing but saves you from having to change tabs and click attack.

The one I would really like to see is invasion attack. It would make it easier not having to do the math all the time to figure it out.

I think Invasion attack is the most important as well, as the rest can be seen while attacking.

same here, with all the weapons and other systems that add a bit of invasion attack here and theire that one isnt easy to keep track of
and also you dont get your number for invasion attack when you invade a planet, only the %chance if you fail

I would love something like this.
Similarly, no reason it couldn't apply to defense as well. (defense vs based, defense vs npc's)

And yah, it doesn't have much weight in the overall game, but i also cant imagine it would be hard to implement.

Didn't think about invasion. I know there are calculators out there you can use, but you have to manually check very module you have or arti you might use. Would be nice to know % before an invasion without having the headache.

On the flip side of the coin... calculating ID can sometimes be quite "fun" as well....
