Well, the title pretty much explains it.

I'd like to see a way to speed up the timers on daily missions.
I'd prefer if it cost GP.

I just don't like having to wait.
I know people will be able to rank the Bioship ally really fast that way, but let's face it, with the amount of daily missions that are out, people can max that one in a couple weeks anyway.
Any thoughts on this?

And I also want an NPC based Ally. Thanks for reading.

The point of them being daily was to give dan more time to code more stuff for us.

That's true, but I don't think it's working.
1: At the rate Dan is adding stuff, it takes months between each update. A few daily missions won't keep people entertained for very long.
2: It is just missions, after all, and it won't really stop people complaining. People want more new content, not just one new mission chain every few months.
3: Even the ones that require additional effort is really only enough for 15-20 minutes of play-time a day for most people, then we're back to being bored and waiting for new stuff.
4: It might also be a nice way to get him a little bit of extra income. I'm sure there are several people who would gladly pay for it.

If the daily mission (only) occupies 15-20 minutes of your playtime before you get bored, why on earth would you spend RL$ to speed up the timer so you can be bored even sooner?

I should have been more clear. That's how long it takes to hunt down the NPC's and and complete whatever other task is required and be done with the mission, before I'm back to waiting 20 hours for the timer. Which is boring.
But of course, I do realize it would end the mission sooner, and I'd spend even more time being bored before the next step in the chain is released. It's almost a "can't win" scenario.
Also, I make a comfortable living, so I tend to waste money on things I don't really want or need.

something like this could work, max 5 per mission completion, cost 8gp speeds up a daily mission timer by 2 hours (so max decrease is 10 hours) for those who want to get them done quicker, can half the time they take and those who don't doesn't effect them. and dan gets a bit of extra money to help encourage him to programme more content :) everyone wins

Limited use is a good idea. Wish I had thought of that. :P

Is their a single Daily worth spending GP on to speed up? A single one?

When you have as much money and as little patience as me, most of them are worth it. lol.

I would use this if for example I was away for half the biweekly and wouldn't be able to max the mod otherwise, but yeah I dont see why not

I'm not sure how that works... A bi-weekly will last two weeks no matter how long it takes you to complete it. That's why they're called "bi-weekly" missions.

A valid point. I still think this idea has merit.

This would be ideal. Doesn't hurt anyone.
