The Crimson Cutlass appears too often but the mission its needed for can only be completed once a day.

I don't really want to be stuck with this NPC for 10 days until I fully complete the mission as it is useless (other than for completing the mission).

Can we either remove the "daily" tag for this mission, or make it so the NPC stops appearing once you have completed it for the day?

Took me 30 minutes to find 20 of them, if I continue NPCing as usual I will end up with around 20k of the usless arti...

+1, Agreed. Also posted on the discussion thread for this mission.

It's surprising to me that now someone complaints about a mission NPC being too common, aside from Data Analyzer :o

Stock up your chips :P I prefer I be able to stock up than stopping the NPC. I can't do NPC run every day, you know :(

Careful now asquall, you're running dangerously close to suggesting that not everyone can NPC every day, which is surely blasphemous.

I can't do a NPC run everyday, just because of my RL :) I do a run when I get at least uninterrupted 1 hour spare time, which is pretty rare to get in work days. So, stocking up is the best way for me (and maybe some others) to get this mission done :P

Stocking up would still be possible. Make them only stop spawning once you have cashed in your 10 for the day

or make them stop appearing when you have found and killed 110 of them? means people can npc to their hearts content without them stacking up on loads of arti's they'll never be able to use

Another improvement would be to decrease the time the enemy expires in to 30 mins or 60 mins.
Much like the Litheor Deepspikes had a short expiration.

Litheor Deepspikes lasted only 10 minutes, and they still clogged your BT... :(

These Culass are just too common... and there is no way to get rid of them before the mission is fully completed. Which would be fine if the mission wasn't a daily.

No daily mission should have a requirement to kill a common NPC; for people who actively play this game and kill NPCs this will be a mayor PITA.

PS: all previous missions that required you to kill NPCs (e.g. gaia seeds mission) could be completed in one day; the problem was finding the NPCs needed. No idea why this approach has been changed for this particular mission, but I think is a poor call.

And yet another scan module has been added (4 new scan modules and a planet structure that boosts 2% scan... that's a big /sigh).

AND this looks like will coincide with the Easter NPC hunt too, bad timing :( Please make changes before the event starts...

This was my plan until I realized this is going to screw up the Easter NPC season!!! :x

Has anyone noticed a change in the spawn rate of the NPC? I was able to find all 10 needed within about 5k energy before, and just now it's taken nearly twice the energy to find the same amount. Just the RNG?

EDIT: maybe just the RNG lolz. Almost immediately after I posted that, got 4 almost in a row

Yup RNG iI seemed to be the only one having major issues finding them, but was eventually able to get all 110. For me they popped up about as often as seigesiege cannons

That other Darhy Guy has good idea. Let them stop spawning after your completion on the mission is done for the day. that way u can stock pile if u want and NPC with out the spam.
