I got to thinking the other day....wouldn't it be cool to create your own totally unique custom title? I thought it would be cool.

Anyway the idea is this....Dan if you could get it so we could create a custom title for our selves for say a few gp? I'd be down for this...

I've always thought it would be nice to have a custom Avatar (in game) without having to use and change your FB account picture. sorry for hijack..

Too much policing needed for obscenities/offensiveness. You're never going to see player-generated custom anything.

But as long as player name is already vulnerable, does that really matter? Two obscenities on one ship is not really that much worse than one, and as long as one can exist...

And if Dan sees that type of ship name, or someone turns it in, they get their name changed or banned. Two wrongs do not make a right.

It doesn't make a right, it just makes the 2nd irrelevant.

Because you can't change/create the names of your ship, legion, legion-base or planets, right?



I agree with Uy23e. Just make it cost GP and the only people who will bother with obscenities in their titles are going to be the ones who bothered to put obscenities in their ship names. We shouldn't tip-toe around and refuse to use things just because a small minority might abuse it.
