Pretty simple, Just a method of being able to trade GP in game without making GP itself a trade-able currency.

Create a new artifact, that you can trade to anyone(send-able), it costs 50 GP in the market and has no use in game other than to be traded.

Now this artifact can later be exchanged in game at anytime or day, for the 50 GP it cost. (Maybe less if Dan thinks a tax would be necessary).

This would open up a way to trade GP from player to player and would also give less reason for players to be trading out of the game.

I think this idea has merit. +1

So basically you're just gift-wrapping GP and sending it off instead of sending it as is.

Not bashing the idea or anything (or at least not trying to) but I'm not getting what this is supposed to achieve.

Stabilized GP rates since you can just send them the GP so they can buy what they want. This way you dont see scruuge vault = 3x price of regular AP storage even though its only about 2x the GP price.

Also eliminates the need for loss of loyalty for QSE + RT and can pay someone ctp for GP to abandon. Its a very useful idea imo

this, plus you can buy base modules etc... CTP for these "vouchers"

+1 to this suggestion

The Idea comes from a game called 'Conquer Online 2' where there are 'CP's' (Equivalent of 'GP' in GL) and 'Dragon Balls' (equivalent of a 'QSE' in GL).

Basically you could find the Dragon Balls in game if you were incredibly lucky and either trade them for stuff as they are or exchange them for CP's which could be spend on things like the lottery or the Mall.

Thanks for the support!

It would also open up a window for people who don't spent money on this game to get their mission planets and limited artifacts etc etc.

i would like to see this done as it would not be breaking the tos and it would allow people to purchase gp from people allowing those who love and has no issue in spending money on the game and has the money to do so giving them a chance to i can see more money being spent on the game by some players knowing they are not going to break any tos just to help out other people but at the same time make there ctp they are trying to get to buy planets or upgrade there base's

would make Trades more easy, but also opens up for alts, beeing made just to pick up free GP's from offers/survays

atm the only GP items you can transferer directly from account to account are standart storidge towers
sure you can still trade some the others, but that takes planet invasions or colonize + abandon
but all in all, that helps to limit how usefull alts realy are

a 50 GP artifact that can only be used for trades, could easily give us more alts then the Trainee update just did

if we get this, we might need to split up GP in to 2 difrent types
GP's bought with real $ and free GP's as it is in other games

and this is an artifact you should then only be able to buy with real $ GP's, to help prevent alts

those surveys/free offers are IP traced/cookie traced, so not all that easy to abuse, i know this because the offers i do in GL show up on several other freebie sites i frequent, and it tells you you've completed the offer already.

the other option would be to remove the free offers/free daily GP gift.

New accounts only come with 10 Galaxy Points, and the artifact in this idea would cost 50 Galaxy Points so you cant farm new accounts for the GP with this method.

(I have never been able to use the methods of gaining free Galaxy Points so I can't really comment on that.)
- I however cannot see how this would entice people to create alt accounts at all? I assume Galaxy Points are not easily to farmed in quantity's of '50+' at a time using the free methods of obtaining Galaxy Points.

Thanks for your post and feel free to explain a bit more on how it could be abused by alt's so easily as I don't see it.

Like all aspects of the Galaxy Legion economy it would be decided by supply and demand.

Your right Hall, it's not easy to farm up a bunch of free GP using the survey's and whatnot. I've used it on a number of occasions and probably acquired more than half of my total GP that way. But it takes time, a lot. I can't see multi's being able to abuse this. At least, not easily.

In fact, I think this may actually increase the amount of GP being bought.

if you have acces to multible IP's adresses, theire are ways to get around that

never sayed it was easy to abuse, but have still seen a quite a few players try to do this in a other games

So much effort for such little gain as far as I see it.

Awesome idea! Make it either trade-able or scrappable for GP. And yea, 50 GP cost, to avoid that "new accounts get 10 GP" thing. And put an extra warning for new accounts, or make accounts reach a certain level before they can send... at least lvl 50 ?

Yeah a rank requirement may be needed, maybe you get access to trade them once you complete the mission for the exotic planet?

is it now, you would be supriced how little gain players are willing to cheat for....

offers do change form time to time, but atm with these

Image

with a little work you should be able to pickup 10 + 3 * 16 GP's = 58 GP's every time you make an alt
if you do that 3 times pr day it's 3 * 50 = 150 free GP's pr day, for your main account

I have been a GO (gameoperator) in a difrent game for a few years, so belive me I have seen players cheat for less then that, and baned quite a few of them for it

i do like the idear for the artifact and beeing able to trade 50 GP's that way
just want some safeguards, so players wont be able to abuse them
