I made this suggestion in another thread aaaages ago and believe it has some merit. I don't have fine details, but I'd be willing to come up with them;

Red / Yellow / Blue badge items with common uses that are not restricted to being only useful in PvP.

Examples:

Stat buffs (10% attack bonus or a 2% scan bonus).
Planet structures (Something actually decent like a 2:3 structure or at least a 1:1 structure).
Planet structure upgrades (Maybe bring out multiple items which would act like an alternative to the Quantum Accelerator).
Crew/Rank Points (Maybe a red-badge purchasable Android Tactical Officer).
Caches/Crates. Something decently pricey (50 Reds, perhaps) for 4 hours of planetary production.
More base upgrades purchased with Red/Yellow/Blue badges instead of silver ones.
Planet upgrades? Essentially something like the PvPer's Terraformer.

It would be motivation to PvP which gave benefits for other parts of the game.

Not to de-rail this thread too much or get it jumbled with your other one.... But, this is a MUCH better idea, imo, than your misguided idea that Halcs and Amp are broken and should be nerfed. If you want people to uncover and Pvp, incentivizing Pvp more is the way to go rather than attempting to simply nerf a long-standing part of the game/ strategy.

So, while realizing these rewards would need to be hashed out, I'll give this idea a +1.

i still have a few planets that don't have heist stations yet. for greens .. plenty of unmaxed assimilation loci and bane psybeacons. reds are being used for base locks. silvers go towards the base now that most of my arti planets have the pair of nexi.

so blues are the only ones where i have a stockpile that just keeps growing.

Possable

Planet structures (Something actually decent like a 2:3 structure or at least a 1:1 structure).

You mean like the Counter intelegence nexus (2:1 with 150 cloak) or the Heist Dispatch Center (1:1 Arty/Mining with small attack perk) Granted red doesn't offer anything but base raiding is a thing at 5 badages per scan.....

Planet structure upgrades (Maybe bring out multiple items which would act like an alternative to the Quantum Accelerator).

Look we all Love 2:1 buildings but if we keep getting them then we will think they are bland, if you had this it would have to be a HUGE amount of reds (compairable to blacks in raw number)

Crew/Rank Points (Maybe a red-badge purchasable Android Tactical Officer).

Nope

Caches/Crates. Something decently pricey (50 Reds, perhaps) for 4 hours of planetary production.

HA HA HA 50 reds for 4 hours of production, maybe 500..... hahaha nope. people have alot of badges and silly AP, maybe if it was only reserch/mining..... but at that point you are putting an exact value credit value on badages

More base upgrades purchased with Red/Yellow/Blue badges instead of silver ones.

Maybe, I wouldn't mind more base stuff, but most bases that I see are pretty filled, (even when fully expanded with Max GP extenders) tight on space,

Planet upgrades? Essentially something like the PvPer's Terraformer.

Nope these things are ment to be RARE, not easy.... if you did it would have to cost HUGE amounts.

It would be motivation to PvP which gave benefits for other parts of the game.

Alot of people DO NOT LIKE PVP, and only do it becuase they need the guns/items for their planets pve ability. PVP has some of the best equipment in the game at its disposal. WHile I have no objections to renewed interest please do not do it in way that diminishes the rest of the game.

I support additional badge rewards, but let's get real Roddenberry1. The same people who halc and amp now are not going to stop doing so just because new badge rewards are added. They obviously don't care about the existing rewards which is why they halc and amp so new rewards aren't going to change that.
