Hi, I was thinking about a new GP artifact, called "designer or painter" the effect is when you use it you can select whatever picture of reserched items you want on your ship with the stats/upkeep of the which ever one you want. Its purely an assetic change but some of the lower tech has a much cooler picture then the higher stuff and it would be neat to be allowed to use the art with the better stats of the higher end stuff. maybe say 50 GP for unlimited use or 1 GP per item effected. Thoughts ?. |

You can assign different pictures (from the pool of pictures made up of your researched items? Just the ones in that branch of research?) to your modules? If this is your suggestion then -1 because I fail to see the point. Who even looks at module pictures other than you yourself when switching modules around? And in those cases, it would only serve to be confusing. If you're suggesting we can use ANY image (via some upload process) then I'm gonna go with -1 as its open to abuse if so (uncouth pictures). This is in addition to the reasons above. If I've missed the point entirely, let me know. |

-1. To be honest, I fail to see the point in this as well. Seems like just another way to waste GP. If you're going to require GP to be used for something, at least make it something that contributes to combat or production and not aesthetics. Sorry just my opinion. |
