How about this for an idea that could be easily implemented: Ship-bots can be modified to either add or remove decks. This would let anyone who wants to to eventually have an SSB if they really want it. Just a thought. |

*waits patiently for a consequences speech to come forth...* That said - if you want an SSB, you can always get there by ranking more. |

how about a GP module instead. activation cost of 50 GP to remove 1 deck. |

I am happy with the size of my ship atm, but I know a lot of people wish they could reduce the size of theirs. |

been suggested before, many many times, aparently GL is the school of hard knocks you want to be SSB either reset and do it right from the get go, or rank up. I don't agree with it, however that is what Dan (through his actions) and the general player populas have spoken to what they want. |

id think from a marketing standpoint..eg cash...a gp cost item to reduce x decks for x gp would make sense....my equitable amount would be say 50 gp for 20 decks...i dont think that's op.. however, not sure there would be a ton of cash to be made...virtually all resets and new players are ssb already or relatively close...the few people who could/would really want this probably wouldnt be worth pandering to. I like the idea of an in game 'course' change for ship size...but if it doesnt' happen ..like senator has said before, the large ship benefit form what it got all along and willingly made the choice to be big... i think SOME amount of deck reduction would be fine... Another spin might be a holiday item that allows for an 'adjustment' ..maybe it has 2-3 options and comes from a limited mission. Could give options likes drop x decks, gain a small cache, or scan boost temp item (y uses). This would provide choices and no matter who you are one of the options would be awesome. just .02 |

-1, you added more decks when you needed them.. you get to live with that decision |

the whole ship build concept is screwy... so...i have like a dingy, and by adding decks (to what magical space) the ship gets bigger? And whole DECKS are needed to hold cannons, shields , etc. how does that work/ And where does the crew live? And how does a robot add decks? BRackets...sure just duct tape that crap and good to go.. I keep adding xcells, brackets and target disposable storage pods, but somehow ship doesnt get bigger, more crowded or less efficient? But removing decks is unkosher? pshah |

It would be nice if we can use ship bots to build new ally. |

if you want to get rid of some bots, theire are no limit to how many Anubix, AI Assault Drone you can make in the TC lab if it didnt take Android Helmsman, I would proberly have turned these Ship-Bot (Uses Left: 14.836) into Anubix Drones just for the fun of it |

or if the price is right, I dont have a problem with anti ships bots... 1 anti ships bot ( removes 2 decks - down to a minimum of decks = rank) cost 100 Ship-Bot, 30 Rescued Prisoners and 50 Android Helmsman + 500 energy to make in the TC lab |

meet you in the middle 1 anti ships bot ( removes 2 decks - down to a minimum of decks = rank) cost 100 Ship-Bot, 30 Ancient crystal foci's and 50 Time manipulators + 500 energy to make in the TC lab No ct lab has more then one type of permanent stat boosting item so neither should this one. ![]() |

I know senatorhung, but desided to keep it simple and leave the +19 out of it 30 Rescued Prisoners and 50 Android Helmsman = 150 Tactical Officers, 30 Engineers and 150 Helmsmen you could have added to your ship to remove 2 decks think that is a fair pice to fix your "mistake" if you added more decks then you want it 7.500 Tactical Officers, 1500 Engineers and 7500 Helmsmen less for 100 decks or 75.000 Tactical Officers, 15.000 Engineers and 75.000 Helmsmen less to remove 1000 decks (you can ofcourse do a difrent split betwen Tactical Officers and Engineers) so think the price is high enougth and fair as for it beeing a CT lab item, it all comes down to how you add it to thel lab if this one, and a few artifacts that lets you add up 100 Androids, brackets, cells, ship bots and prisenors into a larger version of them so you can basickly make them and add 100 of them to your ship with 1 click becomes standart artis in all lab = all labs start with them and you dont have to recearch them simply adding them to the CT lab would be a real option but no, it not an artifact I realy want to spendt recarch in the TC lab to get draxsiss wrote: No ct lab has more then one type of permanent stat boosting item so neither should this one. ![]() not true draxsiss Anubix, AI Assault Drone cost you 200 Ship-Bot, 50 Android Helmsman and some Grid Console (witch hardly matter) that is 2 permanent stat boosting artifacts + a crap artifact you can simply buy/trade so I see no reason why you cant use 3 stats boosting artifacts for a artifact that actualy lets you remove decks |

Post subject: | Re: Ship-bot suggestion |
so to remove 1000 decks you would sacrifice 75k attack, 75k def and 15k energy--i think not (not even factoring in bonuses that would add to those stats)....maybe at 1/10 th of that someone MIGHT ever consider it...you should either drop the idea altogether or find something that would be costly but not so ridiculous no one would ever do it |

depends on where you are in the game juiceman if you already have 200K+ Tactical Officers, all adding more attack realy does is improve your chance to invade planets with high defence, as you are already hitting the cap on NPC, bases and most player ships so compaired to adding more attack and Defence, reducing your dammage cap by 500 might actualy be a real option for you even at that cost but it easy to tweak the cost if you think it to high, just keep it at 100 Ship-Bot, 30 Rescued Prisoners and 50 Android Helmsman + 500 energy and instead of removing 2 decks, it can be 5, 10 or 20 decks instead depending on how mutch it should cost to remove 1000 decks |

Yeah, after reading the suggestions, I'm going to have to -1 the idea. Would i love to have a dmg cap of just 2k, heck yeah.... Would i love it if suddenly all the people in my BT had dmg caps of 1200, hell no. Honestly, people really need to think through the repercussions of their idea's before posting a suggestion, because whilst on the face it'll look like a good idea to make yourself harder to kill, you're also making everyone else harder to kill, your own targets included If you follow another thread right now in regards to a "use all" button, people do not like it when an increased amount of time is spent clicking. So this will drive people away from PvP even more than they are right now. People don't see the reward in PvP beyond their weapons/proteans, if you make it harder/more time consuming/take considerably more of a players pre-rank 2200xp to kill other players, then people will participate even less in PvP. Here's a novel idea for any LSB's that would like to become SSB's or MSB's, or whatever you want to call yourself.... Get more artifact points. Increase your defense, hull & shield totals, so that even as a LSB, it would take someone 400+ shots to kill you, maybe even more if your defense is high enough. |
