can dan make purgers work on arti immune planets? being stuck with planets I don't want in my list is somewhat annoying and seems a reasonable fix to do. i know warp inhibs are supposed to protect planets and make invasions difficult but most times they are placed on planets not worth invading and half the time the owner went inactive. but now with prismatic planets, i'm super stuck with 1 in my list that i scanned recently. planet purgers should not be considered an artifact, offensive or otherwise, when it comes to emptying out planet lists to do a scan run. still waiting for dan to implement click saving measures as well, like using multiple of a single item from the artifact list just like we can "give" and "scrap" multiples of 1 item, we should be able to "use" in the same way. |

I have a few of these planets with the Warp Inhibitors myself, even tried asking the active players to remove them so I could purge them, and not even they will do it... a +10 to this!! |

personally i put Warp Inhibitors on planets i want gone, since if someone scan my sub-par planet, they will purge it, but if i put a Warp Inhibitors on it, they might alert it or take it to get rid of it. Warp Inhibitors are already useless, for me they have 1 use and that to stop ppl purging so -1 from me. Just alert the planet or steal it and dump it if you want it gone. Im sure thats what the person wants . |

i agree on being able to purge a planet that is immune how about some kind of new artifact that can only show up during a certain seasonal can be found in planet scanning or npc or during a base raid we all do not have 300 planets to purge with them so it not like it going to hurt us with geting some kind of arti that allows us to purge a immune planet from our list. this will also make it that it could be a new npc that comes out possibly ![]() |

+1 to this suggestion, as I now have 20 of these useless planets on scan. |

+1. Not because of the annoyance factor but because logically purgers work on my star chart, not the planet itself. Dan was just too lazy to code a separate artifact type. |

I found a bad planet with a Reactive barrier so another planet I cannot purge. I am all for making those planets "purgeable". |

-1 People place these on terrible planets on purpose. Why? So you have to invade and abandon if you want it off your list. And it saves them 5 GP because of your OCD. Its working as intended I think. |

i dont think so...this is another archaic item that once had a purpose...back when the high rank ships were 500-600 having 40k defense and some pop on a planet was brutal if you could make it immunity to spam...it HAD a real purpose... Now it is a totally worthless item in all but the most extreme scenarios. So the windfall of that is a plethora of worlds that newbs pop them on and then quit and we are left with planets no one wants and its painful and costl credits/gp to rid oneself of. OVer time and many scans you accumulate a ton of those which clog your tab and take up space. I seriously doubt that was the intended purpose, yeah? |

juiceman wrote: I seriously doubt that was the intended purpose, yeah? an unintended consequence as a result of an original purpose that no longer holds. however, that unintended consequence now provides alternative benefits to the game ecology, so Dan is leaving it as it is. |

Its working as intended I think. Nope. In the case of a Reactive Barrier there is no known way to ever get rid of such a scan as far as I know. An Inhibitor can be destroyed but not a reactive barrier. |

Reactive Barrier just prevents enemy artifacts from being used on the planet, it even says so in the effects page that's it's Enemy Immune. Star Chart Purgers are not enemy artifacts so can be used on Reactive Barrier planets. |

a little off topic but are Reactive Barrier still a possible effect ? |
