Just wondering if there would be interest in new game mode where a player can wager a planet for the outcome of a series of battles.

One on one battles
Both players have to be online, limited buffs/arts
Winner gets choice of keeping his planet or swapping ownership.
Can upgrade to wager up to 3 planets

Team battles
Automated, series of ten matches
No buffs or arts
could have 3-5 players per team
Winning team gets choice of planets with selection going to top to bottom damagers

Free for all
Automated, series of ten matches
has 20 players per match.
No buffs or arts
Winner gets choice

Legion battles
Automated, series of 10 matches
need a minimum of 10 loyal members from the legion per side
Winning team has choice to either swap planets ( top to bottom damager gets choice ) or decline and instead either add a 1% buff to base production for a day or if a legion mission is running to slightly increase the chances of success

In all cases , a swapped planet is auto-purged by both players. Must have a purger in inventory to put a planet up for wagering

When making a selection for prizes, the winner can choose a mystery planet. The mystery planet can be any unoccupied planet in the galaxy. If the winner declines and either swaps for an enemy planet or keeps their own , the choice of mystery planet passes to the loser or the next player in the queue .

Planet wagering badges could be included, and a market. Arts for sale in the wager market could be strictly planet wagering buffs/mods
It needs polishing

Or GL could have a day, twice a week, where you can access an extra scan buff and search for all kinds of planets including awesome Dysons.
What a spectacular idea!

As for the gambling planets idea, that's the kind of thing you'd need to do between two consenting adults because there's no way to ensure all parties are online and that planets are suitable for the wager/s.
Otherwise it's a bet only someone with really crappy planets or who didn't care at all would take.
So for me it is all a huge waste of time and effort for no benefit and no fun.

I assume this is a sarcastic statement but just in case, there is that feature in the UST...

For the love of little kittens, go and facepalm yourself, obvious sarcasm is obvious... *shakes head sadly*
