 A Second Legion Mission

(I did try a search for this) As an award to legions that get so many successes, say, for every 1000 successful legion missions (or double each time for each award), you can run another legion mission alongside. The number can be increased if it seems too OP at 1k, but something like this would be good, would give more variety to how often we got legion missions

I would normally have given this a +1 except for the fact that it seems some legions can't even handle one.

Depends on what you mean by successful mission. If you mean getting Relic badges, that would take many years.

The average mission is 3 days so that is 8.2 years. Even if you decrease some hours, I double you'd get it below 7.5 years.

If you mean players completing their missions successfully, assume 40 complete per mission, that's too easy.

The other problems you run into is that people will run out of content and resources too quickly with this model.

I'd really like to seen an option for the leadership of legions to be able to choose how long LM's are available for.

Make it a one off cost of say 150 GP for a special ship module that would give leadership the option to make all LM's have a duration of either 4, 3 or 2 days.

It would give smaller legions whose players would have a harder time completing tasks inside a 3 day timeframe an extra day but at the same time would grant the availability to every legion to be able to make their LM durations just 2 days.

I would love that. But then again, unless it's a hard NPC task or I'm waiting to start due to the Oruas Eye, I'm usually done with my LM in about 5 minutes...

Given how many nice rewards come from LMs, though, I could see this only further widening the already uncomfortable gulf between the good and laughables.

Lets meet in the middle, a GP mod for the base that allows us to select from 3 different mission choices (all different). Not as great as 2 missions at once, still GP based ($$ for DAN) and as a base item instead of for individual ships.

I was thinking something similar recently. My thought differed in that you could choose one of two options:

option 1: have a list of LM's that is randomized of ones that you can then pick a specific one from that generated list. Maybe 3-4 to choose from
option 2: randomly select any mission.

because option A gives you only a specific 3-4 missions randomly generated and if you don't see the one you want in that list, choosing B selects from the entire pool on LMs so there is a chance you could get that one.

So if you chose option A, say Vorean, Galakis, and Carjean came up as your choices. You don't like any of those ones and would rather have a different one. You go with option B and then it selects from ALL LMs.

It would be even better if out of the 3-4 choices it guaranteed at least one phase II legion mission. Perhaps at a higher GP cost.

seems too strong to me..i mean hey, i wouldnt mind cause i would double up good stuff 2-3 times a week like on dailies and base raids, but....that said...omg those of use with tons of e, em, and so forth would rake, those without...well...or "casual" players, it wouldnt do anything for them.

No slam, but this is kind of a vanity perk for high ranks...

I like the legion misson length settings idea, it is (at least in my experience) very rare for people to change lm time but skips are fairly common. so its no major loss of gp longterm to sell a base mod that provides it.

I would at least cut down that stupid Mawhks chain to 3 days instead of 4. What was that about ?

Oh and phase I missions could easily all be done within two days. Us high ranks usually do our LM; even most NPC tasks within an hour except if we are waiting on a new vision in hopes of getting adventure.
