There is already a use for 90 Corruption & a use for an additional 80 Corruption. So that's already around 9 months of use for corruption taken care of, plus however much Corruption the schematics will use too, you just won't have the corruption available to feed your new ally anyway. Also, unless the ally was gamebreaking OP, no one is going to use corruption, given its rarity, to rank an Ally instead of upgrading 40 structures(to 2:1 arti +800 cloak) and access to 3 new visions.
A new Ally would be nice right now, although i suspect we're going to get one during Elios.... hopefully anyway lol.
Sidenote, i'm already expecting a new medal for Corruption to be released, thereby screwing over those whom may have already begun to spend their Corruption
