go to the market already an arti you can purchase to rename planets so why would dan make it a free arti when he already making money from this option |

Or free race changes? The only reason the majority of people buy the planet rename contract is for the medal. |

I think Dan is willing to give such nice rewards at 8 year mark for a number of reasons these are in no particular order of precedence... * By that point, the player likely spent a ton of $, and if not, they aren't suddenly going to anyways * So few people hit that point, why not * Game is closing down, its one more incentive to keep the oldest players in... * Gives a goal to people who think down the road and drool for so much free goodness * Game may be ending soon-ish...so eff it * Drugs, porn and rock n roll during coding |
