I was thinking, it's a large galactic community out there, many of us have probably caused our share of mayhem. So, I was thinking, what about an artifact that lets you change your name. I was thinking that it would be best if this was a mission artifact, but what say everyone else?

yeah, that could be useful. especially if ur generally hated for being obnoxious then you would be able to start over.

I'm sure Berserker would enjoy having one of those. And that's the reason I dislike the idea. If you cause mayhem, man-up and accept the consequences. Don't go running to the GL Witness Protection Program.

If you're (the general you, not you personally) a douchebag, you're a douchebag. No amount of name changing will change that fact. This is more of just a one-time mission-drop artifact. Mainly I'm thinking for those who want to change their name to suit their desired ship build or if they lacked imagination and just used their own name. Something along those lines.

You can just use the contact function to change your name... Unless that was only for people who joined before the name update.

Yes, at first you could only use your facebook name. It was changed a while latter. people who started before then get one free name change.

Are you sure you did Scroll Down>Report/Contact This App>Check "Contact Developer of Galaxy Legion for information or help">Continue>Type Message>Send? I forgot if it notified you on send or not. If you mean it send you to your home after you sent it then it was probably sent. If you mean clicking continue sent you there, that didn't happen to me. I just did it.

wouldn't having an artifact (or more likely several) that allow you to change names encourage players to be "#$&*$# bags"?

I mean, you harass, post something vile, or do something else offensive; then do a name change to cover yourself.
