This may mesh with someone else's previous post re android saboteurs but why not create a trap for raiders?

It could cause:
hull damage
shield failure
disable weapons
loss of Arti points or mineral points
energy bleed off
jamming of docking doors(no ability to raid until repaired, how ever many hours...)
(not all of these at once lol, just one effect)

make it random in effect if you want, make it so it does damage to raider and raided if appropriate (e.g. if its a space mine, theres a chance it damages both parties hulls) though i'd suggest different percentages.

raids are the one thing short of a critical failure that you can get away unscathed usually. why not change it up?

thoughts?

Well, it couldn't damage both people, because the one being raided is already disabled.

And in order to raid somebody you must disable them first, so it's as much work as a disable, with an extra five energy, and harder than hacking already.

true re damage Ferrus, but you don't have to disable to raid, you just have to find someone disabled AND raid (lol we both know some farmers I thought.)

i don't know the odds on hackin v raiding but they seem equally difficult just based on different factors.
