This is the next in my serious of epic sagas. What happened to the money from last saga? Maybe you'll get another clue in this one, but I rather doubt you'll guess it.

Mysterious Signature Three completions
A long range outpost detected a metallic object, and thought it was debris, but suddenly it gave off a short but powerful energy signature and vanished. It left a trail, of what looked like debris. See what you can find.
Rewards-Hominn Debris-Artifact-Adds 15 defense, shield, and armor.

Hominn Contact 4 completions
Well its a ship...looks long range, and...hold on. Incoming transmission. "Hello...we are the Hominn. We apologize if we're in your private space, but we didn't know, and have been running from our sworn enemies, the Megzi. I don't think you'll like them either. We can help you if you help us. Help us repair our vessel, and we can give you some pretty nice rewards."
Rewards-Repair Pods-Artifact-Adds 15 hull and 15 defense.

Hominn Technology 5 completions
We are extremely thankful for your help! In exchange for your service, we will give you a share of our technology.
Rewards-Hominn Research Center-Planet Structure-4 space, -2 mineral production, +5 research. Hominn Ion Chanel-Module-5 space, 12 shield, 20 defense. Hominn Phase Conduit-Module-5 space-15 attack, 30 cloak. Hominn Quantum Analyzer-35 scan, 10 cloak. Hominn Bio-Processor Gel-Artifact-Adds 10 scientist to your crew.

Megzi Confrontation 1 completion
We are now sending a delegate ship to talk to some Megzi ships we have seen. We shall see what first contact brings.
Rewards-Unlocks Megzi Attack

Megzi Attack Four completions
How dare they! They just outright destroyed the ship! Show them we are not to be trifled with. Attack some of the aggressors.
Rewards-Battle with Megzi Light Cruiser-Drops Megzi Ramming Blades-Module-12 space-adds 70 hull, and 12 attack.

Megzi Ambush Four completions
This is battle cruiser squadron alpha, commodore reporting. We are preparing to attack Megzi formation...opening fire now. Hm. They are really pitiful. Simple engines, weak laser weaponry, and reasonable armor. We have them outgunned, and outmaneuvered. They...wait! What are those portals? Gah! Under attack! We're being flanked! They're everywhere! We've lost all starboard weapons! Mayday, mayday! We've got hull breaches on decks 7-12! Reactors flaring! I'm losing her blast it! Quick, reinforcments needed! Get here ASAP! Relays offline, trying to purge...GAAAHHH!!! -zzzzzzzzssssssssssskkkkkktt- Communication cut off.
Rewards-Battle with Megzi Portal Ambush Squadron. Drops Megzi Tech Ops-Gives you 5% damage boost against Megzi ships, and shared NPCs.

Facing the Horde 4 completions
This is a disaster. Three entire fleets were lost to these Megzi. They are technologically inferior, have little to no apparent tactics, and yet they crush us! The biggest question is how they make those portals. They are beyond our abilities, much less theirs. That, and their seemingly infinite numbers have us beat. Perhaps attacking these targets mentioned by the Hominn will help.
Requirements-Megzi debris-gained from battle tab
Rewards-Battle-Megzi Fleet Wing-Drops-Megzi Phase Laser-Module-8 space-adds 25 attack, and 30 hull.

Lost Hope 1 completion
(Megzi speaking) Pah. Those wings are nothing more than cannon fodder. How are we so powerful? We have allies you don't understand. Since we sterilized the Hominn homeworld, we have been searching for them, the heretic dogs. Since you have given them asylum, your empire will share their fate.
Rewards-Unlocks Hominn Saviors

Hominn Saviors 1 completion
Yes...the Megzi have killed all the Hominn except for us. We had hoped not to hear much of it again. The Megzi have a religion dedicated to a hideous, pitiless god of war and death, and expected us to participate in its barbaric rituals. We said no, and when they threatened us, we destroyed them. We were winning, when they just started...defeating us, with no apparent way, just winning. You still have hope though! Take our weapons. They are the sword that will cut down the Megzi serpent!
Rewards-Hominn Weapons Package-Module-15 space-Adds 150 attack, and 50 defense. Doubles against Megzi ships

The Die is Cast 3 completions
The weapons work wonderfully! The Megzi will be pushed back now! All ships attack the Megzi fleet!
Rewards-Battle with Megzi Protection Screen-Drops Megzi Targeting System-Artifact-Adds 20 attack. Effect doubles against NPCs.

Final Strike 1 completion
Alright, one final heavy hit to their core fleet ought to kick them out, and keep them out. Here, this cloaking system will help. You see, we Hominn are shapeshifters, and we have managed to do a similar effect to our ship hulls. It will let you get close and attack.

Rewards-Hominn Hullshifter. Artifact-Adds 25 cloak, 25 hull, and unlocks the "Hull Shift" ability. This let's you change the exterior appearance of your ship into another race's that you have unlocked. In example, if you are a Vygoid, you can activated it, and change into a Konqul ship. The change is merely visual. Other players whose scan is not higher than yours will see you as the race the ability is set to. If you attack or are attacked, the effect will drop, and cannot be activated for another 30 hours. The power lasts for a week.
Other reward-Battle with Megzi Fleet Core-Drops Megzi Bastion-Planet structure-5 space, 150 attack, defense, and 100 invasion defense.

Blockade 10 completions
The Megzi have fled, and are currently residing on several harsh other worlds ready to strike again. They are allied with several criminal organizations, and are getting new weapons and resources. Blockade the routes. Intercept anything you find. The Hominn have agreed to send reinforcements if necessary. Feel to ask for help if you need it.
Rewards-Upon first completion-"Hominn Battleship" ability is unlocked. Summons a Hominn Battleship from hyperspace to broadside your opponent. Immediately does a massive amount of scaled damage to target. Has a cool down of 3 hours. All others give Intercepted Goods-Adds 2 hours of planetary production, and one random artifact to your cargo.

Hominn Alliance 1 completion
You are a good friend. If you wish, you can become a Hominn. It is hard to get used to, but who wouldn't like to be an extra-dimensional shape shifter? Here, this gene aligner ought to do the trick.
Rewards-Hominn Gene Aligner-Unlocks the Hominn race.

The Hominn-A bunch of aquatic shapeshifters from a now dead world, they are advanced, intelligent, and empathetic. They resemble plesiosaurs, and have smooth, blue gray skin. Their heads are small elongated ovals, with small black beady eyes, with a large mouth. Their long necks have a row of short stubby spikes running down the back, and their bodies are squat oval, almost blobs with short stubby arms. Their culture has a tradition of showing respect to others, by cocking the head slightly, and smiling without showing the teeth. (As your avatar would) Their ships are greenish blue, and have organic curves despite looking metallic. They favor massive broadsides of weapons, and use any variety they want, from lasers, to quasi-chaotic blasters. Their ships are also often over shielded for their job. The interior of Hominn ships are a swampy eco-system, complete with water, animals, plants, water falls, fish, and water proof electronics. Your ship would be blue-green, and a curved, sort of rocket ship-looking thing. The rear would be covered in fins, sensor antennae, and engine systems. The Hominn ability is passive. They are shapeshifters, and use this power to transform into races whose powers intrigue, and impress them. You may pick a race to have it's ability, (albeit slightly reduced) and use for yourself. You may stack on as many powers as you would like, but each one is diminished in value. Powers are the same, but have much, much longer cooldowns. (Like days or weeks)

The Megzi-NPC only race-violent, and hated, they are a militarily religious race. They claim their god of war opens the portals, helps them mysteriously win, and provides them with expectantly massive numbers of warriors and ships. Their ships give off signatures similar to the one that was found in your cargo hold, when the Gurkelan's tributary money disappeared. (Remember?) They have numerous NPC units available after the mission chain, including several captured Hominn ships.

Like it? Also, please review, don't just do the stereotypical "This is cool dude" response. What are the fluctuations, where did the money go, and are the Megzi really defeated? You'll find out soon...
