when you join this game you have little understanding of the game and you are over loaded with everything to do. i would suggest having things unlocked at certain ranks like.
rank 0 gives: scanning for planets/colonising, research, trade, basic mission and upgraiding your ship.
rank 3 gives: the ability to join a pre-made legion.
rank 5 gives: NPC/PvP fighting.
rank 10 gives: hacks/raids.
rank 15 gives: bi-weekly missions.
rank 20 gives: attacking/invading a planet, creating a legion of your own and everything else.

peoples thought (good or bad?) and any ideas to improve are welcome.

the special missions are only available after a player gets to rank 10 anyway, and honestly i made it to rank 25 before i quit for the day when i first started playing so it wouldnt really make a difference to ppl like me.

however, i think this is an interesting plan, as for ppl that level slower may find this information helpful. especially if they didnt read the wiki before they started.

+1 to making the tutorial level based and more spread out.

The only thing I would change would be Level 50 to CREATE a legion. There are way too many "one man shows" already. Raise the required level to 50 and it would help reduce the plethora of "Members 1 Avg Rank" 19 legions. By the time you reach 50 or so, you should have enough familiarity with the game, level 20, not so much...

Other than that, great idea.

Yeah I agree this is a good idea but might need to change the levels up a bit more to give people time to actually learn and suggestion screens telling them what they should do and look for. Wish you could just make people read a basic area of the wiki before they start, but many people would hate that even though it would help them greatly.
