first idea was a npc that when killed spawns into 2-3 other small ships but then i thought it might be more fun if hitting a boss had a random chance of launching a fighter/drone not ment to be that hard just an change from the norm..
Attack fighter (manned) attack: 500 (small ship, little guns) defence: 1500 (much higher def to simulate speed/smaller) hull: 2000 shields: 200 (not much decks for shields) expires in: 2hours? 4 hours? 8 hours? drops: i dont know? something new? new type of badge?
Battle drone (unmanned) attack: 1000 defence: 2000 hull: 3000 shields: 800 (no life support so more power!) expires in: never? 24hours? (unmanned no need for sleep!) drops: same?
i like the idea of bosses that spawn other NPCs that give drops. dark megacomplexes already have the 'fighter drone' ability. i think. anyway, +1 for the idea. as for the stats, let dan decide if he wants to put em in, as it dosnt look like you thought through all the details...
