There shouldn't be a damage limit cap against npc's we find,i dont want to have to spend 20 energy just to take out a level 10 ship when im level 158.

i thought the same thing when fighting those zolazin ships. and i would have to agree with you, its useless. the reason it was there was to stop people with 5k tactical officers from powerleveling and killing each npc with one hit. but now we have flamehawks which kinda solved that problem, so i agree it should be removed.

I would prefer to kill npc's with 1 hit if i could level 10 vs level 158 should take 1 hit

if players have the attack to destroy with 1 hit then it should be possible

My first instinct is to agree with you, but I just can't do that. At 311, I still see rank 120 Drannik Replicators. 3 shotting them, I get on average a total of 50 xp (counting the disable bonus). If I was able to one-time them, probably between 20-25 xp for the shot, plus 20 xp bonus would result in an xp to energy ratio over 8. That's a completely insane return on energy that would cause super fast leveling that is really not very good for you in the long run. The consensus view on an in-game explanation is that small ships would be able to evade/dodge a lot of the firepower of a big armed-to-the-teeth ship.
