ok its all well and good retaliating when a much lower lvl attacks/hacks/invades a high level but when a high level goes after someone that is far far below their own level there should be some sort of penalty involved in doing so as its just bullying (and bullying in games is no longer tolerated).
i know this is going to be flamed to hell and back by the uber leveled but my suggestion is a repair cost multiplier ie if you disable/hack/raid someone 50% lower than you that doesnt aquire you a badge and isnt in retaliation to a previous action (12hr window) then your repair cost doubles (this can stack several times).

theyre already penalized by the damage cap and the lack of badges. and the only way they can hit you is if you do something to one of them or their legion, and if thats the case then i recommend you take this lesson and learn to check whos in what legion. if you tried to take their planet, then you brought this on urself.

everyone (except maybe psicore) has had ppl beat up on them. you learn after a while who are good targets and who are ppl who will gang up on you and beat you mercilessly.

I agree with you on this, Grobblez. Its not fun when you get attacked by 2 or 3 ppl 10x higher in rank then you are.

i know exactly who to piss off and who not too and am quite happy to have an even fight or one weighted against me but i do take offense when a lvl 350 takes on me a sub 300 and when things dont go his/her own way alerts me to the 600+s in his legion in a tantrum.

see, it would make more sense if you stated your rank. i thought you were a rank 40 or something whining about being hit by a rank 100. and while i do think that the damage caps are good for that level range, they become rather pointless as you level. when someone with a few thousand attack hits you with your damage cap, youre still going to go down no matter what.

It is because of this that i agree with you and they should implement some system to keep people that are in the 600s from attacking people in the 200 range.

Personally, i feel the damage cap is more then enough.

I've dealt with Grobblez before. He's actually a horrible player. Like, tremendously horrible. He's a lot of hot talk and blather when he isn't disabled but let someone even 40 levels over him kick his butt and he's whining about how unbalanced the game is. He tends to go off half-cocked and kick too many hornet's nests.
