one of my artifact ideas is a
toxic missile. You would shoot this at a enemy occupied planet, [any type] then it would take out at least four 100 of the planets population. Than since it is like a nuclear missile, the population could not grow over a day. If the planets population was originally below one hundred, than it would make the planet unoccupied. But then no one could colonize it until toxic waste effect wears off.
[This part could be taken off if you guys make this] If the planets original owner is able to colonize the planet before the attacker, he will get his structures back.
Supernova energy re directer. This would be a really rare and expensive artifact [ around 43 galaxy points]. The player would take this artifact and use it on a planet. The effect would be destroying the whole population and maybe a couple structures. The idea is that this artifact will summon any dying stars energy and make it go into a supernova blast. then it would redirect the blast to the planet destroying all population [ planet would still have invasion defense and guards. But one risk is it could lower planet resource value or totally destroy planet if used on small or tiny planet. [ Basically wiping the planet off database and lowering the planets in galaxy by one.] This effect may happen if used on larger planets multiple times too. I guess if you wanted to get a tiny planet off your database because of low resources and to mess with someone you could use his.
