personally i dont think a planets rarity should be based on its type but its resource amounts and its size.
just thaught id throw it in there

Ok so maybe dan might never make a planet not able to be found but what of a item that increases the rarity of a planet up to mythical or stages and a mission to do it say planetary shifting causing it to be harder to find despite it's class by one rarity. This would keep it in the scan possibly but also make a good planet harder to find. |

You can add passive cloak to a planet to make it harder to find. It seems like the level of rarity of a planet only means how common that type is in the galaxy, not someone's chance of finding that particular one. |
