Post subject:  sabatour ability

this new ability is useless unless you have a fleet of them atking a planet dan.

it takes 8 hrs to blow up one thind that can be rebuilt in 2 sec.

need to make the ability more afective or have timers on building structures on a planet. no way a building can be built in 2 sec.

i have to disagree here. its not designed to get rid of them all. just to make it a little easyer to take. -1

I saw some planets that had 30 planetary shields making sabotuers useless... i dont who to agree on, i only have one planetary shield on my standard planets, and 3 on my better ones and 10 on recently attacked ones, i dont particularly want to promote the sabotuer abillity but chris does have a strong point, maybe that improve the sabotuer abillity demolishing abillity on a planet when there are 10 or more conventional defence structures

The point isn't being able to take a planet the player is actively protecting, but to be able to take planets by surprise a little better. Some of my planets have 7000 attack/defense all the time, which would be difficult for a lot of players to overcome, so being able to destroy one of those structures could help greatly.

I am going to use the words your and you, this isn't at anyone specific, but it's easier to write that way.

I think the other problem is that your legion is supposed to be comprised of many different races/abilities that work together. However, this is not what we see, we see legions full of the same people. An efficient legion would have a couple of Genetarr, a couple of saboteurs, a couple of that new race and so on. The bonuses come from the number of people able to use the ability at once.

Sure, 1 saboteur isn't great but get in a legion with 5 of them and then you are in hog heaven. If you had a planet taken by this kind of legion, we would see you post about the ability being too powerful.

agree but still after messing with this ability think its useless....... but maybe that's because unless a planet is over 30k protection i d not worry about it much.

But those that are struggling to invade a planet i can under stand how the ability would help a lot.

AS for me i still and probably will always think its a waste of abilities that take 8hr to use. maybe if you could do it say every 3-4 hr then it would have more use

or have an added affect that when you bomb it it not only blows up a structure it lowers the DEF and atk of said planet for 12hr by 15%.

I think there are sabs for hire, try poking in the trade section to see if anyone take the job~

You are right, a single sab is almost useless, cause it only give a marginal amount of chance boost(thou it does kinda depend on the stat ratio between ur ship and target planet etc)
But they are VERY powerful in large fleet of, which can be achieved by the above said method--hire them

Nothing wrong with the game, just how u use them~
