We need a app for I phone and android phones because many people want a fast way to play this game on the go
maybe a simple one that just lets us manage our resources. then add from there

Just got an HTC EVO and was thinking about this I can technically play on it but it's pretty dodgy. So ++1.

i try to play on my droid but it crashes and freezes alot, i would love to see an actual app even if it is only limited

I've tried playing via the browser on my new HTC Desire, and while the game is technically playable, it's VERY slow at loading anything and clicks take anything up to a minute each. It's also impossible to move the comm other than to open/close it, so if it's open it permanently covers stuff up. None of the scroll bars work either and the locks for selling the minerals are very difficult to activate/deactivate.

An app would definitely be useful, but is it technically possible to have an app for a game inside Facebook? :?

maybe, it could be a an app that is limited on what you can do
like if you were allowed to do missions, and spend artifact, mineral, and reseach points. But you would not be able to do battles

I would pay for a good Android GL app. Running in the background, alerting when ship or planet attacked or on legion announce, possibly custom alerts?. Maybe even include an alert sound symilar to the Star Trek chest communicator.... :)
