We have a Legion Search Feature. would it be possible to ask for a player search feature?
I.E. if you see someone on your friends legion com you can copy their name paste it in the player locater will tell you what legion they are with and allow you to send messages to them but not able to attack them. similar to the Leader board screen you can see what race the player is, what legion they are with but you get no Scan Data, no attack button, and you can only send messages.

as communications are difficult enough in the game, this might make it a little easier especially in recruiting, diplomacy, and legion business. There could be other uses for this also, but i think this could be a nice addition to the game features.

Well i wasnt reffering to finding Dan, but i am sure that he can also write in a self filter for messages.

This has been suggested before, and I still like it. As long as it is only usable for communication and NOT attack.

thats the Idea Darth. i would not support a System that in effect gives anyone an ability to grief one person day in and day out. Definitely not on the Attack or Scan ability. you only see the race and what legion they belong to and can send messages.

It also sticks to the realism quality. Communicating over great distances will not let you see what someone has on their ship by talking to them, nor could you shoot a ship from across the galaxy. however, ship to ship comunications arrays would show you what race they belong to with video transmissions, and what alliance comunications network the ship captain is using (Reference to numerous Star Trek episodes).

Well I guess with the newer comm block feature the potential for abuse is less, but then ... someone could spam or something maybe and thats no good either.

I really like this, sure its suggested before, but itll definitely help me find some old GL friends that went missing. +1 of course, itll help me keep track of old enemies >)
