Legion O's should be able to cancel alerts by members for any reason, except by other O's. Leaders should be able to cancel O alerts.

Would go a long way to ending wars because somebody is too fricken lazy to read the chat instead of just hitting something alerted.

I would definitely like this. When alerted players get their full retribution, I could cancel the alert so there isn't overkill.

Alternatively, leave the alert, and just use a strike-through text so people know its no longer in your legions interest to maintain the alert.

+1 but I'd have to say, we should have a tab for alerts on planets, enemies and NPCs, and officers or leaders should be able to remove or grey out or put a slash through (like Steve said) the alert text so the legion will know what is active, what isn't and what they should work on first
