| Post subject: | Suggestions User Interface |
New features are cool but its nice to refine and improve upon what already exists. Here are a few simple suggestions for improving user interfaces and making things a bit more friendly. Ship interface is a bit clunky- the click down menus are okay but unnecessary. Maybe somebody else has ideas for this? Is there a full-screen mode for the game? Research tab is pretty boring- a few pictures and a couple tweaks could make it more interesting. Ever played Age of Empires? now that has nice research trees : ) Some of the mouse rollover summaries simply display a copy of the mouse over image but no text. More text summaries would make the whole experience more fluid. What do you guys think? And is Dan the only developer? Either way, impressive game, looking forward to seeing it take shape. |
