Hello ... I was thinking the other day it would be absolutely great to go to my target superstore and buy a galaxy Legion game card. Do they have such a thing ? ? Recently I had bought a couple of Mafia war game cards . I was able to redeem my credits very easily.
So with that in mind . That would be my idea to make the game more enjoyable ..
Sincerely yours ... RADMO .....

a game card is a piece of paper with an unique code in it that you buy, when you enter the code into the game, you get something from it.

OOoohh, ok. lol i gotcha. didnt catch that at first. then i retract my first comment, yes. i would like this. im MUCH more inclined to spend money irl because i do not own credit cards, nor do i have a debit card. if i buy something, its with cash. if these were sold in stores, im probably gonna pick up a pair of fathers, and some terraformers while im at it. :P

It actually works like a credit card ... it has a scratch off on the back .. you enter the code online and bingo .. G - points. the world of war craft has a similar card ... Star Trek online also ...
Take care Warriors ....................... Good hunting....

this can be a convenient way to bypass the interest charges that are applied to credit cards when purchasing soemthing online.
Until this app gets enough players to warrant getting it's own cash card like what you propose, i recommend seriously considering those prepaid debit cards that they sell up at the registers in stores like walmart. the store brand Debit card costs you $3 to put money on so any amount over $30 you are paying less than 10% in "interest". though technically the cards do not charge interest. As always be sure to read the fine print in any money card offer before comitting to that card.

I say wait up on making game cards until GL becomes independent of Facebook.

i don't think dan can afford to make a bunch a galaxy legion cards, not enough people would bye them. but he could make it so he gets a profit from those game cards that work with many other online games, so then those would work with this. But i am content with using facebook credits and galaxy points the way they are.

The processing fee is typically 20%, vs. 3-5% for CC, so actually it's less efficient for Dan, plus you have distribution and all that fun stuff. There's not enough volume here to justify a card like that (yet).

would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody for the information concerning the game cards.. I learned a lot reading the posts here . Be it known to everybody I did try a pre-paid credit card and it was an absolute hassle. I had to go on the Internet, register my name and address on the card before I can use it on the Internet.. another prepaid credit card would not let me use it on the Internet at all. if the cost is 20% more to do this for Dan, then it's not worth it.. I would rather use at this point my regular credit card to purchase G-points .. so on a Saturday my favorite pastime is a 12 pack of Miller genuine draft and 550 G - points. To a great game and great players and to the spirit of the game good hunting !
sincerely yours ..........
