I would really like to see these big ships and the Full potential of their firepower more unbound,,,,it takes so long to build up to get it, and Im feeling that once you get to a certain place, what is the use ? these guys that have 11,000 plus firepower should be able to knock npcs out easy,,,,or you could make bigger npcs that match the rank and firepower of the ship

And I know it counts more towards pvp and You are trying to probably balance the game out more,,,but in my opinion it just says to the bigger ships "you got this far, but your not gona be able to show off how much you have put research and built into your ship.

This sparked me cause a friend of mine came over and his max damage was 500 to an npc,,,at over 11,000 attack,,,

And it would be great to see the pvp intensity get more action as if they can damage MORE per shot,,,it would put more intensity and urgency on the quickness of the fight,,,they may not be able to repair and recover as quickly which would be great for the better built ships.
And if Im wrong,,,no worries, but its something I have heard and talked about with people

Any thoughts will be appreciated ;)

so youre proposing we remove the damage caps on both pvp and npcs? i say yes for npcs, no for pvp... players deserve a bit of protection, especially when theyre going up against someone 300-400 levels above them. however, npcs should recieve no protection, as thyere not players and it dosnt matter if they get disabled.

I think its a fair cap, its how the game is supposed to be played, I mean sometimes you might get a bad average or critical hit so,yea -1 on PVP, i guess +1 on NPC
