We keep on scanning and scanning and scanning and only find planets? What about moons and asteroids and comets??? You know they can be of limited resource that eventually peters away after some use. |

yea. sweet idea. something you scan that has a limited time resource on it. Maybe put it in artifacts tab and have 1-30 uses (can only be used once every 12 hours or 24 hours - so the resource has time to rebuild), and each time you use it you get a large chunk of mining/artifacts/resources. Great suggestion!! |

I like this idea... and have a few things to add to it on my own. I like the idea of OTHER rewards when scanning.. because at the momment.. you only gain XP when you FIND a planet and scanning.. so you waste ALOT of energy by not finding anything.. this would kinda make up for that. 1) randomly scanning a comet/asteroid does NOT decrease your chance to find a planet because it is random 2) asteroids or comets could be used kinda like any other mineral... example when you randomly scan and find a comet it gives you 1000 automatic minerals... if you find an asteroid randomly it gives you 1000 automatic artifact points.. and make research a rare one.. say you find an old derelict ship with alien technology that gives 2500 automatic research points... just a few suggestions 3)not able to build on.. they act as instant rewards (like mentioned above, kinda like daily rewards) something i don't agree with is scanning and finding a moon... a moon is a moon because it's orbiting a PLANET.. so if you just found a moon it would just be a very very tiny planet or an asteroid... another idea: Maybe possible scanning a moon that can be used like an artifact to add 3-5 more space to a planet building available space. 1 per planet maybe? |
