Would it be possible to have alerted planets show up as such in the planets tab, and possibly even have the message pop up when a legionmate clicks on that planet. This way legions could reduce the number of "That planet was alerted for X" arguements, with their associated hurt feelings and too often fights.

well if you check your recently scanned list they all show up in there. oh and on your news feed and a little popup.

Also if you check the actions tab of the planet, ITS ALREADY THERE, it says this planet has been shared to you and expires in X.

So to top it all off, there are currently 4 ways in which you are told/ can check that the planet has been shared, so you really dont have any excuse.

1-Recently Scanned... doesn't do anything if you just did a scan blitz (and you still have to open the planet)
2-News Feed... Obviously you don't get much going through yours or you wouldn't even bring it up
3-Pop up... expires in what? 20 seconds? yeah thats helpful
4-Actions tab... for over 300 planets? yeah... ok...

What he's asking for is a separate tab on the planet list screen showing ONLY shared planets. And in place of the "this planet was shared to you" message, it should maintain the original message that was sent with the share. I don't think thats unreasonable. So considering some of the ideas you've put forth, you shouldn't be trying to make someone else look like an idiot by pointing out ineffective alternatives to his idea.

Yeah, it would be nice if they did that for planet alerts, and other player alerts as well. Going through the news feed for alerts is a pain.

Not gonna start a argument over this.

1. how often do you do a scan blitz?
2. ok fair enough some people have alot on their feeds, so you could possibly miss it.
3. same as above specially if your not online.
4. now this I have to totally disagree with you. Do you honestly spend the time looking at every planet you have scanned anyway? no, only the good ones, which is probably why it was shared in the first place.

If we cant get a separate tab for unoccupied planets, do you honestly think we are going to get one for shared planets? I dont think I was trying to make, it was just a statement of fact.

How about the alert message show up at the top of the planet screen. Theres plenty of space to adjust it a little, that way you dont even need to click the actions tab. A separate news feed for players and planets would be much better than it is just now.

Lastly, I made 1 stupid suggestion that I cant even remember what it was about.

1.lol every few days........ i erase planets and then rescan all the time
2.feed is normally empty by the end of the 1st day due to the over abundance of npc we get so links are lost all the time
3.pop ups suck cuz either they don't show up or show up too late a lot of the times.
4.and i sift threw the planets all the time cuz some moron will go onto their planets and forget to scan to see if others have them targeted or not.

So i agree his idear would be nice however it dont mater to me. but good idear.

My idea isn't about scan blitzes or anything. It is about when you look at a planet that is in your list solely because it was shared have it be obvious that it was shared. Too often one person shares a planet, intending (and even stating) that it be for one legionmante, only to have another legion member scoop it when going through their own list and taking the best planet they find there (or taking it because they don't like the other member it was intended for). They then claim that they did not know that it was supposed to be for the other guy. I would like it coded so that the original alert that went out with the share of the planet pop up each time that planet is accessed by those shared to, which will cut down on this sort of stupidity.

Can you stop share planet ability and have them go back into the pool of planets available for the late comers to game
