This item doesn't drop anymore at high levels. And it's a very important one.

Oh the rank 300 thing stops at 1000 doesn't it ? Anything that's in a formula (this one isn't yet) I just realized needs to still be accessible if its a drop like that. Should just make flamehawks drop mainly obelisks and occasionally a foci or amp. Problem more or less solved. Adjust drop rates as needed.

Dan seems to be loving your idea's recently. Now suggest to him that everyone above rank 1000 should get free chocolate ice cream on sundays.

It's a great idea. We needed more ways to get the ancient crystal foci to make crux amplifiers. This we you kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

Well I thought of ways to apply this to other stuff that disappears at higher rank, most notably the passive planet drops from the lazuli complex; I've suggested that already (well the cloak anyway). A formula that is passive cloak (or def too I guess), or a mission for passives (but that doesn't fit as well).

More realistically, possibly a formula to make something that is not permanent but like a zolazin shroud except powerful (cost balances it), makes a planet un-scannable for a week lets say does no permanent damage to game balance.
