I think an auto-updating list of the most recent say 50 players that join the game should be displayed this could allow us to try to recruit them into our legions if we wanted and could encourage new players to stay if they get to know the rest of us |

This may end up as spam and discourage new players. However it would also help prevent a few 1-man legions. |

what if there was a limit each new player could get max 5 comm messages from it |
