It will come with the base combat pack patch update. Just be patient.

Personally, my base has no guns, hulls, def mods etcetc, just factories, keeping our base upkeep down.

What im affraid of is the patch comes and none of my memmbers are on for like another 6 hours leveing my base deffenceless, i practicly got it from Lvl 0 to Lvl 2 by my self in 5 minnuts [Lots of energy cubes and tri matrex along with my massive energy]

dont worry, dan said he would give AT LEAST one weeks notice. plus the good thing is that the base automaticallly repairs itself at the beginning of every engagement. so dont worry, youre not defenseless. players with unequipped bases are defenseless.
