Post subject:  new artifact ideas.

THIS THREAD IS FOR ANYONES ARTIFACT IDEAS AND COMMENTS!!!

one of mine is a planet holo disguise. it is used on any of your planets to make it look like a different type, size, and production, than it really is. the effect would last a week or so, and you would have the option to choose what your type of planet your planet gets disguised as. but your attack and defense would look the same. Then you could use this to try and keep people away or just try to make people think they found a Dyson you own when it is really a tiny barren. This could help get rid of planets you don't want and give you time to flux them. But they would either be a discovery in the collective theory lab or very hard to get in you production, because i can see a million planets disguised and people never Know what they really got. One thing that could be changed but i thin is fair is when a planet is disguised and someone scans it, in the scan window it would show the real planet, but not when they looked at it.

please comment on that and post your artifact ideas on this thread ;) .

interesting idea, could be useful, but would need to be extremely rare and probably have a cooldown period

I like the idea for Revenge Artifacts. like a way to get back at the guy who takes your planet. like my insectoid hive idea (See Forum) which started out as a passive Def ability. but i was given the idea by someone else to have it Eliminate the pop of the invading force for a week after they invade, so it could help take it back.

this arti would be placed on a Desert, Toxic, Terra or barren planet. and the way i rationalize the population thing is that because they are a foreign people they wouldnt know how to defend from the bugs or have protocols to keep the colonists to be safe from the bugs for awhile until they can adapt.

I have to say, if Dan does a Holo he should also do it for ships, showing someone else's stats at random until you're attacked, at which point your real ship is shown.

the holo disguise is cool at first, but when everyone's planets look like tiny sparse barrens it becomes stupid.
