ok, so I was thinking, in my legion we are almost all over rank 100 with really high research, but we have one member in the 50's still with lower research. In real life wouldn't our advanced technology help his crew with break throughs that we won't get from being the first to discover it? Anyways what I'm suggesting is if there is a difference of more than 3 tiers in research of a certain area, then once a day a small amount should be given towards that area for that player. Thoughts?

That gives me an idea for a new base module:

Academy of Advanced Systems:
A member can spend 4,000 research to net every member of the legion 100 research, as long as they are lower level than the user. The research result will be higher than the cost as long as there is more than 40 members in the legion lower than the user.

I like this idea, or maybe you can just send them discoveries, like once a week a member shares a discovery with the legion and then anyone researching it gets a 50% bonus or something
