I am sure that we have all been there - you are *almost* at the next level, just a litte xp left to go, but you are out of energy.

You don't want to use an energy cube or pay for an energy refill - because you only need 50 or 100 energy so you will be wasting all the extra.

Or maybe you are a low level player for whom 100 energy is pretty close to a full energy bar anyway.


What you really need is a smaller, cheaper or more common, packet of 50 or 100 energy that you can use and be happy that you aren't wasting anything.

Small Energy Disc - Restores 50 Energy - Common Drop from Daily Reward or buy for 3 GP

Large Energy Disc - Restores 100 Energy - Uncommon Drop from Daily Reward or buy for 5 GP

You could also have Common NPCs have (say) a 10% chance of droping an Energy Disc each time you destroy one.

Why the hell would you get a tiiny lil energy disc when you can get energy cubes and tri-emblems.

just wait a few hours, excess energy? dump it in the base. If there are energy discs, make it come from somewhere else other than the daily reward. Daily rewards come every 20 hours... i didn't 20 hours for a measly lil 50 energy. Escpecially if they are common. I'd rather get credits or research points.

Okay, so if we scrap the idea of it being a daily reward option - just have them as chance of droping from NPCs or buying for GP - would that be better?

You can't always wait a few hours, say you are going to bed or work so won't be able to log back in for 8 to 10 hours - you might be losing 8+ hours of energy.

Dump excess energy into legion base.

Seems like I read almost this exact idea over a year ago. You know, before silithion queens were added.

3GP for a Quarter Refill is worth it, for 50 is insane. Ditto for 5GP and Half.

But dumping excess energy into the base sucks. It's a great way to spend up to 2000 energy at a time, but the payout blows. ANd what about those players who don't belong to a legion or are too low in research to contribute to their legion's base?

dan already fixed this problem with silthion queens. other than making a lower rank version for you, i dont think this needs any work.
