It confuses me how you could have a scout that could carry thousands of minerals/ artifacts. It seems only right to me (logically) if cargo went to ship size. Say around 10 cargo spaces would be equivalent to 1 deck of space in the ship size category (an example, not actually to be used as deck) I imagine it wouldn’t be too hard to add the extra factor on in programming. Also, the cargo size should factor into max damage as it would add more "bulk" to a ship. What do you guys think? |

I do think cargo should add something to the ship size. Though I am fine eitherway. |

Sorry - gotta disagree. Cargo space is, at least in part, what you swap extra modules from the ship into when you're changing the focus of your ship - so that you don't have to pay for the module all over again (especially the mineral requirements can be a pain.) The game is balanced around how they are now. Tesseract containers and MSPs mean that the upper level players would have *HUGE* deck-count equivalents. |

In terms of realism that wouldn't actually make sense; you can't install modules in a big room you have on your ship. Decks represent area that you can install modules, whereas the cargo bay is just a big room for boxes. |

Code: In terms of realism that wouldn't actually make sense; you can't install modules in a big room you have on your ship. Decks represent area that you can install modules, whereas the cargo bay is just a big room for boxes thats exactly how i was gna describe it ![]() unless you want a new reputation tab thing that goes up like deck size saying stuff like smuggler to trader to freighter to carrier kinda thing split up by like small freighter - freighter - super freighter then +1 |
