dear dev's please add dyson ring to the next step up from dyson planets though they are a upgrade from metallic they can also be found... make the challenge hard or what ever i dnt care i just wana see some dyson rings as the next step up from dyson. u could either have it as needing so many of the planets to make one dyson planet with stats that breach the existing x48 cap depending on the stats of the planet used or add a new rly hard, sexy and endeavoring mission for us to complete id pay just to see maybe just one added to the game atleast or somthing ok ill give an example of what id expect... added to the missions on the chain where u make ur exotic and dyson planet i would love to see z mission added... could have energy need as 500 per try up to 10 times till completion or hopefully more but one terraformer one expander needed per try... if not more... now the artifact could say blue prints to the ring worlds or what not i dont care and i take it many wont... thou they will care to see somthing at least this one planet type beyond the games current limits... with size and resource production being the accumulation of the planets used to make it... i was thinking we could have either gaia's or terra's and ofcourse dyson planets (2 terra/gaia and 2dyson)... or one of every normal planet there is in game... u urself dan have seen the eagerness of players to fight the soft wall's of planet stats with mega collosal planets made by players... this presents u with a chance to get a heap of money from the players that pay and intrigue many who do not or who have saved enough to attempt to make this ring world...

normal dysons im leaning to a no -1 but if it was a thing you use on a man made one then yea +1 dno why just feel like it may be pushing the viability of being put in the game a bit out there

i had suggested some planets before ... Commonwealth <TK> wrote: Nemesis Planet - Mythical - A type of Dyson world - Special Structures can be built on this planet unlimitedly (Multiple Omnibases/Crimson Bases can be placed) - Can only be fluxed once every 3 months - 24x Megarich + - Always Colossal
Paradox Planet. Extremely Rare - A Very Strange planet - Invasion Timer is shortened to 1 hour on these planets. Seperate Timer from the standard 24 hour timer - Artifacts and Trap Effects Last 3 times as long - Traps last twice as long (eg- 1 Week to 2 Weeks ) - Megarich All
Meridian Planet . Mythical - A Type of Dyson - Always Mega Collosal - Takes up 3 planet slots - 90x Megarich All - Cloaking Structures can't be built on this world. - Automatically Fluxed at NYE - Can't be fluxed conventionally - You can only have one Meridian Planet at a time.

Isn't a dyson pretty much the pinnacle of planet production?

so ur talkin like the dyson like this one http://www.technologijos.lt/upload/imag ... sphere.jpgwhere the normal sphere is in the middle and there are a ton of rings around it encompassing the planetary orbits.

very awesome picture, I was thinking more like Saturn, but I'm liking that way better now

Dyson rings would be a step back from Dyson spheres. Dysons are built to absorb the power of stars. A Dyson Ring would allow more of the star's energy to escape.

but if you had a dyson sphere at the center of a system of dyson rings then it would be a step up. the dyson rings can be built to allow more habitable structures, especially if they mimicked the landscape of a terra planet, which would allow the natural ecosystem to flourish in an exponentially larger area. think of it: no more annoying hippies... no more annoying environmentalists... no more al gore! truely that would be close to the pinnacle of technology. coexisting alongside the natural order of things.

You guys know what a theoretical dyson sphere is, right?
A structure that completely surrounds a star so that it can absorb all of the stars energy.
Why would rings around a dyson even be productive?
Why wouldn't you just make the sphere thicker? From what I hear, there is only enough mass in our solar system to make a sphere the size of earths orbit three feet thick.
Don't quote me on that.
Also dyson rings sound delicious with ketchup, or maybe a ranch sauce.

Since stars really aren't even mentioned, why couldn't you just pretend your planets orbited binary stars?
