 ok the civilian ship got me thinking of a new planet artifact.
the Galactic airbase..... this artifact would be an upgrade to the Anti-Resistance Base and the Council Base. You would need both on the planet to use the artifact. the new structure would still take 5 spaces and have the same stats. and have a new ability of building galactic fighter drones (max of 4)
Requirement to build- research the BP in the lab.
BP-costs would be 25 Processing Core Chassis, 25 Relay Tower Chassis, 25 Warp Gate Chassis, and 25Refining Lab.
new artifact would be used on a planet you have the 2 bases already on in doing so it would convert/upgrade them into this new galactic airbase.
Galactic Airbase would have:
size 5...... mining 2..... research 2.... artifact 2....... def
population +100 carried over from the counsel base
cloak +100 carried over from the resistance base
new ability galactic fighter drones.
the new galactic fighter drones have to be built with a max of 4 aloud on a planet.
REQ. for the drones would be 1 drone cost 50 tech parts, 1 Subspace Seeker, 1 Sentry Guards, 1 Shield Sentries and 6 hr to build so you can not just repopulate them instantly.
Benefits of having the guards are Def and Atk for the planet. they would act as a npc bot that guards the planets as players do. They would all be one entity. because it is a squad. 1 bot would add 500 def/atk and have 1k hp. all the way to 4 having 2k atk/def and 4k hp.
anyone attacking the planet would have to kill the bot drones before invading the planet. as if they were a player ship guarding it.
any thoughts suggestions are welcome but I think it would be a cool addition.

There should be secondary ships that is used ONLY to guard your own planets and civilian planets.
