Hey all, I was doing some thinking about the Rank system. I had an idea how to make it a bit more rewarding. 1. Ship RP = Player Rank level after Rank 20. Example: Rank 1 - 19 players get 10 RP per hour regardless of planets and such. Rank 50 player would get 50 RP per hour. Rank 200 player would get 200 RP per hour. By these levels, the RP's would be crazy. 40 extra RP's per hour at Rank 50 would help a little bit but not game breaking since most tech's by the time a player hits Rank 50 would be like 20,000+ each to research. By Rank 200, probably 250,000 research per tech. And so on. 2. Daily Rewards. At Rank 1, daily rewards should be like: 1,000 credits 50 research points 1 skill point Artifact worth 250 artifact points At Rank 20, daily rewards should be like: 50,000 credits 300 research points 2 skill points Artifacts worth 500 artifact points At Rank 50, daily rewards should be: 200,000 credits 1,000 research points 3 skill points Artifacts worth 1,000 artifact points Rank 100: 500,000 credits 2,500 research points 4 skill points Artifacts worth 2,000 artifact points Rank 200: 2,000,000 credits 10,000 research points 5 skill points Artifacts worth 5,000 artifact points ====================== Just throwing around ideas to scale up the rewards from both research and daily rewards as the higher rank a player gets. I'm not sure how much the Daily Rewards does scale up right now. Can any Rank 100+ players post what they usually get for daily rewards? |

I'm almost rank 50 and I'm still getting around about the same amount of stuff as i always have for the Daily Reward. It's a good system I believe. My only suggestion is that you put the % chance of getting credits a bit lower because that seems that's all I get. |

My concern is that at higher levels, 20,000 credits daily reward means squat especially if you have more than 300 minerals per hour income. Ditto for research rewards. Once you're producing like 500 research per hour, the 300'ish research you get from Daily Rewards means squat too. If the rewards increase in proportion to rank / level and your income (mineral and research income), then the Daily Rewards should be more worth it and benefit high levels as much as they do for low levels. At level 200, I bet planets cost like a billion credits to colonize, and techs cost like 250,000 research points. Thats why daily rewards are worthless for those high levels. |

It costs more research points higher up. Yet to reach high rank, yet I already have some that takes almost 300k research points.
