My idea is simple, Have each NPC that is shared have a random number of each possible drop, not exceeding the max rewardable slots on it. When it dies, the player with the highest % damage on it gets the first choice of drop, then you move on down to the guy with the lowest % damage on it. All extras will be lost.

This will make people want to do more damage on each NPC instead of 1 hit then leaving it to someone else, people can Choose the drop they want, and extras will be lost to ensure no one is going to be greedy and not share the NPC alert.

what if the leading attacker didnt log on to pick his award???

im sure they would have a 'click here to claim your reward' or you can designate what you would like from the NPC beforehand (1st, 2nd, 3rd picks) and youll get your top choice when it dies if its available. like, if you kill a megacomplex and were the top damager. top pic would be the cache. if thats not available, then second would be the pylon. and in a wierd circumstance where everyone gets the same reward, then youd get a thruster.

yeah, I'm sorry I forgot to add that part, you can pick before hand your 1st choice, then second, all the way until you have all the possible slots filled, or you could choose random

Were this to be implemented I would like a separate tab, window, or something that would allow me to choose so my selection is automatic.
