Asking for a prior legion history tab be added to any applicant to a legion. Only officers/leaders would be able to see the legions an applicant has been a member of prior to applying to their legion.

Just a small little thing, but can be useful at times. My legion has had a guy apply 4 or 5 months ago, we turned him down, and he has recently reapplied at pretty much the exact same level, at just about the same time we were starting to square off against another legion. While I am not going start to debate how legit he may/may not be, being able to see whether an applying member is a legion hopper or some of his history is nice.

In my mind, it would be another tab that only becomes visible only when one is applying to a new legion (ship, stats, actions, comms, history); or it would become a full time measure that again officers/leaders can view.

Thoughts, suggestions?

05/04/2011-1200: joined XY legion
05/04/2011-1230: joined XX legion
05/14/2011-2200: was kicked from XX legion

something roughly like the above would be helpful to see if an applicant; or somebody you are considering recruiting into your legion is a legion hopper, or has a history of getting booted from legions.

whats wrong with just having a log of what legions each player has been in, vissabble to anyone. This would also help spot legion hoppers and those who may not be as loyal as they appear.....

@Pert: that's the base I'm asking for, but if Dan wants to flesh it out farther I gave an idea of what might be appropriate. Unless there's a driving need to however, I do not agree with that sort of information being available to just anyone. Officers/Leaders do need that information when deciding whether or not to let someone into their legion, but a standard member does not.

Whether its available to Officers/Leaders at any given time, or only during an application to a new legion is still debatable, I lean towards always available to leadership caste, as need to know.

I would post this on thier ship tab.... but simpler I mean you don't need to know what time of the day they entered or left just how long they were with said legion.

exactly what it is, but we need that, look at some of these players, they are criminals (in game terms)

maybe an ability given to leaders that they can use on any player in the first 24 hours of them joining their legion. having that log displayed to the world might be a bad idea. especially if its a conglomerate legion, and its made up of two rival legions, even if the players arnt rivals.

24 hours is unfortunatly too late in some situations...

suppose it would also give an insight to how trustworthy they are.

Not to mention coping tactical data, command structure, comm logs ect. This feature would help prevent all sorts of criminal activities. Providing the leader took advantage of this.

I agree with this idea, but I would prefer that it be available to everyone to see, because people who do this sort of stuff shoud be made public for everyone to know.

I'd have to say, make it available for officers and leaders of the legion the player applies to, so you go to requests, then you can see the ship, click the name and they add another tab called log or something and it will show recent legions and weather they quit, the legion disbanded, or they got kicked
