I just have a wierd idea.


a new artifact called "Planet Merger Artifact"

Can be use only on planet "average" or smaller.
Merge completly 2 planets, into a single one.
You must own the 2 planets.
All ressources/bonus will be add.
the new planet will be a unique type, maybe "double planet"

can be craft on the CT LAb, on a normal mission (5-10 repeat), or special bi-weekly mission.

I want comment on it please.

Planet collider

type should be like:
Oceanic + oceanic = oceanic
Icy + anything = oceanic
dyson + anything = metallic (But why bother, right?)
terra,gaia,sentient + anything = second type
toxic + anything = toxic
crystal + anything = a mess. Oops.
gas + anything = .... Not much, Collision isn't interesting

size shouldnt matter
size + size, assign non-linear numerical values to current sizes
resources should be averaged, weighted by size, after all its a density equation

type of non-oceanic, non-icy planets should be a "hot mass" for about a week, then turns into its proper type.
Obviously uncolonized.

well i think they should be like planets of the same size. so that way a tiny and a VL would be mixed and have some crazy math equation to figure how much bigger it will be.

ideas for types:
Oceanic + Oceanic= Oceanic
Icy + Terra = Tundra Planet (can be melted to make it a terra again, kind of like an ice age)
Dyson + Anything =Sentient Super Computer
Toxic + Terra = Jungle (Kasshyk style)
Desert + Volcanic = well idk.


things with actual names and would make sense to make

I only suggest something for Average or smaller, so Dyson upgrade isn't possible. I don't know why the other guy didn't really read my suggestion before post something like that.

well i read it, ive just never seen a Dyson b4, not counting the small one i found a month ago. so idk what the normal size is

well my idea is still going off of his main idea, the only thing im thinking of is to have new planet names for the combo, not just change its type to Double Planet.

We just need a new planet or a Exotic upgrade because uh i have 2 Natural Exotics and one is Average 2x Mega mining and the other is Tiny(SO WORTH IT) 5xM,6xA,6xR gives me alot with special structures only Just need that permafrost sub-network from this planet in my scans.... so flux your planets :twisted:

I like the basic concept and it would help in getting rid of bad planets without just abandoning them +1
