Post subject:  New Method for Dividing Base Resources

Just a thought, I've heard a fair few people complaining about the % contributed method of division as it can be thrown out completely by one member dropping in 200k or more exotic matter, on the other hand even distribution does not encourage donation to the base beyond initial contribution to qualify.

My idea is that the resources are split in two, half is evenly divided amongst all who have contributed to the base, the remained is divided based on % contribution. This way everyone gets a decent share but those who take the effort to put resources into the base get rewarded for doing so.

I like it.

Much less effort than my current system of 1 week divide by %, 3 weeks divide evenly.

helps out everyone, all the time, but still rewards based on effort.

It just occured to me.
Is there seriously any reason we cant have a system to assign % Manually?

Or if not that, a system where a leader can add or subtract % from a player as a reward or punishment?

At the moment, leaders are kinda teethless. Its Listen or Get Booted. It would be nice to have something with more tangible effects that are not that extreme.

How about letting us distribute a % through out the research tree?
