I like it but seems unbalanced at higher tiers. My idea is to make it a mission reward artifact.
Mission
Structural Enhancements:
Unlock: Rank 200?
1 Completion to finish. 50 steps per completion. 1 Ship-Bot and 300 energy per step.
Per-Round Reward:
700 XP
Completion Reward:
1 Structural Enhancer. Increases the maximum number of one type of module your ship is allowed to install. You get to pick which sort of module gets the benefit. Only standard module types, i.e. it cannot be used to add more NPC modules.


Not perfected, I think it requires tweaking but I think its more balanced. Comments/criticisms welcomed.

how many completions were u thinking? cause if its just one then that poses an interesting choice for people. i think the majority of higher ranks will chose an extra scanner slot, but if theres 5 completions, then that would definitly be worth doing. (one for each module type save energy based modules)

+1 i think better 6 completions. 2slot for weapon, that's hard to play GL without GP. cannot buy radiant surge.

Maybe a chain? 2 completions on each mission, one for each EXCEPT energy. Unlocked at level 400, 150 energy per round 100 rounds. Sounds fair considering the wealth of this awesome artifact
