*so i was browsing the internet and came across this thing called 'Dyson Trees' Quote: A Dyson tree is a hypothetical genetically-engineered plant, (perhaps resembling a tree) capable of growing in a comet, suggested by the physicist Freeman Dyson. He suggested that such plants could produce a breathable atmosphere within hollow spaces in the comet (or even within the plants themselves) utilising solar energy and cometary materials, thus providing self-sustaining habitats for humanity in the outer solar system. A Dyson tree might consist of a few main trunk structures growing out from a comet nucleus, flowering into branches and leaves that intertwine, forming a spherical structure possibly dozens of kilometers across. perhapse instead of growing in a comet, they grow out of this exotic alien world giving a size+2 resources +4, yielding a megacollosal 19x megarich 'exotic dyson'. *Option 2 is the bioluminous world i suggested in another thread, where the world is turned dark and the 'exotic' turns into a bioluminous planet where the trees give off their own light. *Option 3 is a 'Shattered Planet' that is made up of the core, and then the shattered remains which became 'sky island' orbiting around the core. another variant is a meteor, or comet 'shattered' around the planet forming sky islands. these can be like the islands in avatar, with vines or other random stuff cascading down.

Still having trouble reconciling this in my mind. You plant a tree on an exotic and it grows a dyson sphere? That is assuming that the dyson planet type is infact a sphere.

no, you plant trees on exotic, trees on top of trees, trees on top of more trees, and it makes a giant sphere that rivals the size of a dyson.

It's not a Dyson Sphere, the name "Dyson" is the name of the guy who came up with these things, it doesn't refer to something surrounding a star. I think it's an interesting idea, could be cool as an upgrade for Exotics, or for something else.

not everyone is going to invest the time or money it takes to make a natural exotic good.

Goreaj Exotic Average Mining: Very Abundant Research: Abundant Artifact: Rich (not a real planet, I don't have the luck to find exotics) Pragus Metallic Very Massive Mining: Very Rich Artifact: Average Research: Very Abundant (real planet) Would you take the exotic just because it was exotic? I did that the first time I found a toxic. It's average/rich...

Yea well there are some that are good in resources but size sucks i took one on purpose lol it nets 120 points without all special structures. Another one is worth it for the size its 2x Mining. So yes i think we need a upgrade like a Size+2 and resources by 1 Cant be used on mission exotic.
