i just thought since you are actually doing something with your ship, you should get some xp.....even if it's just 1 i'd feel satisfied

If XP was awarded for gifting, then people could gift each other back and forth and it would be very easy to level up.

then maybe you only get EXP the first time you gift the same person within 48 hours.

No matter how long you make the time limit, people could still level up a lot faster without using any energy!!

then make it cost 5 energy to gift and you only get one EXP per gift then.

Make the amount scale to value, else Nike has a good point.

Think about it... 5xp per gift... lets send 400 Dynite. *Levels up* Now lets do it again... *levels up*

Maybe: 1k credits = 1xp
4 tech parts = 1xp (not sure if any tech part items can be scrapped)

Why should it cost energy to gift when you're just trying to help someone else out quickly? I gift people in my legion items all the time when I have no energy 'cause I have nothing else to do. :lol:

i dont think you should get experiance for gifting. the tradeoff is always energy for xp. if you just got xp without sacrificing something permanently then it would be rather unfair.

100 kurenite = 100 exp = 100 energy

i dont want to have to pay 100 energy to send 100 kurenite. id rather have it stay the way it is than change it for xp, but at the cost of energy. youre better off donating energy to the base at that point, cause its about the same ratio. the whole point of this thread was to get xp from gifting when you dont have energy, right? making gifts cost energy to reward xp is counterproductive to the original statement.

Also, if people wanted to transfer credits, they'd use 17 kurenite instead of 1 aidonium, to get the most out of gifting.
