So wait, how have I been filtering unoccupied planets all this time? Oh that's right, through the FILTER. You can also filter by planet type and size, since that is apparently not common knowledge (?) |

guess not. anyway, its good that level 1-10 now have the option to filter their 9 planets with an unoccupied button before they figure out whats what. maybe their trying to make the game idiot-proof.  may attract a younger audience (8-12) and the slower players amongst the galaxy.

now you can tap that button and then put in the search mining, artifact, research. Instead of "Unoccupied rich mining"... |

from the way some of these folks fuss, i think we already have 8-12yr olds in this game (even though they're really not supposed to even have facebook accounts until they turn 13, according to fb's t & c) ...maybe he's attracting the 5-7yr olds? |

There are uses... if you want to find say, an unoccupied rich mining planet. Just click unoccupied and sort by richness. Then scroll down and biggest and richest. Flitering 'mining' if you must. Just quicker... Edits: Changed something I got wrong, fixed speelling mistakes.

The previous way of doing things was somewhat non-intuitive - the search box said "Search by Name" - which suggested to anyone over the age of 6 or so who could read that only the name field would be searched - pardon us for expecting people to say what they mean, and mean what they say. In addition, an "unoccupied" tab seemed orthogonal with the other tabs shown - after all, one could use the "Search by Name" box to search for "You" or "Enemy", making *those* tabs redundant. Snark all you want, but the two changes together make the planet tab *MUCH* more user- and newbie-friendly. |

I wish they had changed it to where you can look at planets by the legion that owns them. it would make looking for enemy planets a LOT easier. |

all he has to do is add legion name to the list of searched fields... wouldn't be hard for him to code that one... would be very useful to everyone |

Enemy/Legion info is still on the table - just wasnt included yet. |

As you probably know, the development of a planet doesn't update unless you check the planet, so I think the issue of updating the owner would be similar. |
